Fitness Wishlist

It's been so so long since I've blogged for a number of reasons but I'm so happy to be able to get back to it now! And in the spirit of getting on with things I've neglected for too long, here's a little fitness wishlist!


I've mentioned before that I've been hoping to increase my fitness and lose some weight but the same issuses that have stopped me blogging have also stopped me making as much progress as I would have liked. I have been really enjoying the (small) steps that I've taken so far though, and have been thinking about a few things that might help my motivation now that I'm freshly determined to get back on track!

The first thing I need is a pair of trainers! The ones I currently have are a cheap supermarket pair and they do just fine but I think I'd definitely feel the part a bit more if I had some proper running shoes! I know the best thing to do is get fitted out properly in a good sports store to make sure you have  the right shoes, but I love the colour of these purple trainers!

I know a few people that own fitbits and swear bu them for tracking exercise and adding motivation. The fitbit Blaze, as shown, is probably a little fancy for my needs but seems to do everything I could think of and more!

I've always been more of a 'baggy jogging bottoms' kinda gal, but these Addidas Running Leggings are not only very pretty, but are on sale at the moment too!

I've heard kettlebells are amazing for strength and fitness and the Davina ones at Argos come in such nice colours too. I'm sure I'm not the only one that exercises better when things are pretty!

And finally, I've always done better with home fitness DVD's that going to the gym, and I've heard people have had great results with the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred so I think I might have to have a go at this - I don't know if I'll be able to keep it up for 30 days straight though!
